Alexa Skills you've already set up work with Echo Show, so your smart home devices like lights, thermostats, and smart switches can be controlled from the device. The company also introduced a new voice and video calling service that connects existing Echo speakers with the new Echo Show and mobile devices. There's also a "drop-in" calling feature that lets someone turn on your camera remotely. The design also showed sharp edges and corners, not even closely resembling the original Echo.
