Chairman of the Committee, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, disclosed at the PDP's 75th National Executive Committee (NEC) that there were four different attempts by persons whose names he did not mention to use the courts to halt the convention.
Meanwhile, the party is under intense pressure to suspend some of its members believed to be sabotaging its peace efforts, even as it holds its non-elective convention, which narrowly survived being stopped by court, which main agenda is the task of extending the tenure of the caretaker committee for at least 90 days.
The Olafeso faction is politically headed by the Chairman of the PDP Governors' Forum and Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose; while the Ogundipe faction has Senator Buruji Kashimu as its political leader.

Also, addressing a world press conference on the convention, national publicity secretary of PDP, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, had said that delegates from the six geo-political zones are already in town for the big event.
"We are going to overcome that with our resilience and to do the needful, " Makarfi said.
"As a party we have realised areas we made mistakes and we are working hard to correct these mistakes with a view to putting smiles on the faces of Nigerians".
Many of our members that left earlier due to one form of disagreement or the other will return back to their party because the National Caretaker Committee has constituted a Reconciliation Committee as well as a Contact and Mobilisation Committee to reach out to them.
The party also deliberated on issues of parallel Congresses in some states of the federation and resolved that all matters relating to such states should be referred to the Convention for final decision.
The former number three citizen therefore counselled the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led special convention committee not to leave any stone unturned to guarantee a hitch free exercise.
"I am impressed with the renewed enthusiasm and commitment of our members towards rebuilding the party after the protracted leadership tussle", Mark said.
"Those who are decamping from PDP to APC are fair weather friends of the Party".
"We have come this far through a tortuous journey".
He added: "And we have every cause to celebrate".
